Assignment: To chose and old work, and repurpose it for a new audience. 

 

When I realized I would be working with this topic for the rest of the semester, the choice was easy: Harry Potter. So I selected a personal essay I wrote about material culture in the Harry Potter fandom and transformed it into a magazine article about the digital culture of the same fandom.
